With baluster or openwork scroll stems, with variously cut matrices, including five London, circa 1770, maker's mark of Hester Bateman, with the arms of Christonson, Devon; Lane, Kent, and others; another circa 1790, maker's mark of Samuel Davenport; another, circa 1760, maker's mark of Edward Higgs; with the arms of Wood, Gloucestershire; two, circa 1790, maker's mark of George Gray; another, London, circa 1790, maker's mark of Samuel Godbehere and two others.
