LONDON, 1833, MAKER'S MARK OF THE BARNARD BROS.

Of vase-shaped form on scalloped spreading circular foot cast and chased with a band of sweeping acanthus, rising to a knopped stem with everted foliate rim, the body chased below with flutes foliage and thistles, and above with a coat-of-arms within an acanthus scroll cartouche with kangaroo supporters, an emu, an engraved presentation inscription enclosed by drapery and a swan, marked on body--11 1/2in. (29.2cm.) high
