Of circular form on spreading circular foot chased with a band of acanthus scrolls and flowerheads on a matted ground, the sides elaborately chased with similar acanthus scrolls and flowerheads enclosing two vacant acanthus and strapwork cartouches supported by winged horses and eagles, the rim with a similar band, the overhead swing handle with acanthus and flowers enclosing a vacant scroll cartouche and issuing from caryatids, marked on body and handle --13in. (33cm.) diam.
