Of vase-shaped form on circular spreading foot chased with a band of dentilation and raised on a square pedestal base on four massive paw, palmette and honeysuckle supports, with applied molded rib and two reeded foliate handles issuing from lion masks, the gadrooned rim with anthemion and foliate scrolls at intervals below a band of egg-and-dart, the domed cover with removable swirling bud finial, with reeded lion mask spigot with carved ivory antemion handle, engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest, the interior with silver pig compartment and cover, marked on body, cover, finial, pig compartment and pig compartment cover--15 1/2in. (39cm.) high
