Comprising a pair of caddies and a sugar bowl and cover; each of oval form, bright-cut with a foliate ribbon and trellis and flowerwork borders, engraved front and back with a laurel wreath enclosing the initial R, the domed covers with similar bands and hinged ring finial, the sugar bowl also with overhead swing handle; in fitted satinwood chest of rectangular form, the silver furniture with similar engraving, with similar hinged ring finial issuing from an escutcheon engraved with a crest, the front interior border of chest engraved ROBERT RUSSELL, EXMOUTH, the back border later engraved D. Wintringham Stable Great Grandson of Robert Russell, marked on bases, cover, sugar bowl handle, box mounts, box handle and escutcheon--box 14 1/2in. (36.9cm.) long
