Of oval form on four reeded scroll feet, the border with pierced pales at intervals within a reeded rim, the field bright-cut with a band of elaborate foliate scrolls and flowerheads within oval cartouches, enclosing a vacant oval cartouche with similar floral decoration, marked under base--18 1/4in. (46.3cm.) long
