Of oval form on four beaded scroll feet with applied flowerheads, the border and rim with similar bands of beading, with two reeded side handles terminating in flowerheads, the field engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest within laurel and foliate swag cartouche, marked on reverse--length over handles 32 1/2in. (82.5cm.)
