On four foliate scroll supports terminating in openwork scroll and rocaille pads, the openwork apron with similar scroll and rocaille decoration below elborately chased scrolls forming two cartouches enclosed by openwork panels of ovals and quatrefoils, the central boat-shaped basket pierced with similar ovals and quatrefoils under a shaped gadrooned rim with acanthus and rocaille at intervals, with six acanthus scroll branches supporting silver-mounted cut glass bowls with similar rims, marked on base, basket, five branches and five bowls (one bowl cracked)--25 1/4in. (64.1cm.) overall length
