LONDON, 1765, MAKER'S MARK OF JOHN DELMESTER
Of cinquefoil form raised on four ribbed scroll and shell feet, the gadrooned frame applied with an asymetrical beaded scroll cartouche, with central baluster handle surmounted by foliate scrolls, fitted with three baluster castors chased with flutes, scrolls, beading and rocaille, the high domed covers pierced and with similar decoration and surmounted by fluted baluster finials, and two cut-glass oil and vinegar bottles with removable stoppers with conforming decoration, marked on base, castors and castor covers, the base also with scratch weight all 52=9--overall height 11 1/2in. (29.2cm.)
