A FINE GEORGE IV SILVER TEA URN

In the form of the Warwick vase, on square pedestal base raised on four massive paw and acanthus feet, rising to a stiff leaf and egg-and-dart knop, the lower part of the body chased with acanthus and with two entwined vine handles, the acanthus scroll spigot with ivory anthemion form handle, applied under the everted egg-and-dart rim with a band of grape vine on a matted ground, the domed cover chased with an elaborately calyx of acanthus and surmounted by a bud finial, engraved front and back with a coat-of-arms within an elaborate foliate scroll and rocaille cartouche, marked on body, tap and cover--16in.
