Magee is depicted on front in a color lithograph against an olive green background surrounded by a white border. Reverse features advertisement for Piedmont cigarettes. The error was in the misspelling of Magee's name on the front of the card to "Magie." Part of the "Big Three" which includes this card, Honus Wagner and Eddie Plank.
