Manufactured by the Rawlings Company, the gold finished leather glove was custom made for President Eisenhower in the hopes that he would throw out the first ball during the 1955 season. Glove is stamped "Dwight Eisenhower Presidential Model" in black across the pocket. Five letters of authenticity/correspondence between The White House and Rawlings accompany the lot.
