Vernon Co., comprising teapot, coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each in the George II style, vase shaped with double concave fluted corners, on short stemmed raised circular foot, front and back engraved with oval cartouche within foliate festoon, one initialled G, the shoulder engraved with band of flowerheads within undulating ribbon, with leaf capped upswept handle, the pots with acanthus clad spout, the hinged spool form cover topped by covered urn finial--the coffee pot 10¾in. (27.3cm.) high, the shaped oval tray engraved with broad grapevine band, pierced gallery border, and two part wood handles--length over handles 24¾in. (62.8cm.), the service, gross weight 90oz. (6)
