A VICTORIAN SILVER BACHELOR'S TEA KETTLE ON STAND, Sheffield, 1894, maker's mark probably that of James Dixon & Sons (worn), partly fluted urn form, with gadrooned collar, partly fluted spout with overhead fixed handle, hinged cover topped by wood finial, the twice chained oval stand on four reeded supports on shell feet--height on stand over handle 9½in. (24.1cm.) high, gross weight 19.5oz.
