FIVE GEORGBE III/IV SILVER GOBLETS, London, with maker's marks of, comprising: each with bell shaped bowl, on stemmed raised circular base, three gilt lined, comprising: the first 1787, maker's mark of Richard Gardner (Grimwade, no. 3771, unregistered marks), with long slightly spreading stem, the raised base with beaded rim, the second--1793, Henry Chawner, engraved with script inscription To Mr. James Moore In grateful recollection of the ride to Newmarket May 8th 1796, the other side engraved with script initials, the third--1805, maker's mark W?P, the raised molded base with gadrooned band, the bowl engraved with crest and motto the fourth, 1806, maker's mark illegible, with reeded band to the foot rim and foot, with compressed knop above stem, the fifth--1821, maker's mark unclear, the waisted stem topped by compressed knop--6½in. to 7in. (16.5cm. to 17.7cm.) high, 42oz. (5)
