Hall, Ballou, the navette form baskets each on short openwork floral and scroll shaped oval base, the side pierced with panels of quatrefoils, the side also with panel of heart form scrolls, with everted foliate and scroll applied rim--7½in. (19cm.) long; the compressed spherical caster with cylindrical neck, on raised circular foot, the front with monogrammed shield form cartouche within undulating chased scrolls headed by flower basket within engraved scalework and flanked by chased flowering thistles and flowers, the neck with foliate shell and floral band on matted ground, the decorated high domed partly pierced slip on cover topped by baluster finial--10in.
