AN ENGLISH FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE AND TWO HANDLED TRAY, London, 1947, maker's mark of Nayler Bros., comprising teapot, coffee pot, squat spouted hot water jug, two handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each slightly tapering rectangular with canted corners, on molded foot, the shoulder engraved with band of foliate scrolls, with applied dentilated rim, the pots with panelled spout, bone harp form handle, the molded collar below the hinged slightly raised cover topped by bone finial--the coffee pot 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high; the tray conformingly shaped and engraved, with two part bone upraised handles--length over handles 24in. (60.9cm.), gross weight 177.5oz. (6)
