A PAIR OF MEISSEN TWO-HANDLED POT-POURRI VASES AND COVERS
Late 19th century, both with blue crossed swords mark, impressed 67, incised F.48, gilder's 16.
Each of flattened ovoid form in the Neo-classical style on footed tripod base draped with a pink swag, the pierced cover with putto finial, the shoulder applied with pink roses flanking a central button issuing moulded laurel and suspending an oval cartouche painted with a European harbor scene, the lower portion moulded with acanthus enriched in pink and mint green
