A COALPORT PINK AND JEWELLED GOLD-GROUND LANDSCAPE CREAM-JUG
Circa 1905, green printed crown mark, gilt pattern no. Y 1513 and iron-red retailer's mark for Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia
With branch handle, finely painted in colours with a lakeside scene within a cartouche reserved on a turquoise 'jewelled' and beaded gold-ground, the bulbous lower body gadrooned and enriched in gilt, 2¾in. (7cm.) high; together with a Coalport miniature pink and 'jewelled' gold-ground quatrefoil footed cup and saucer, similarly marked and with iron-red pattern no. T321 12 to both (3)
