A FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY TAMBOUR DESK

In two parts: the upper section with rectangular top edged with zigzag banding over a prospect door edged with foliate banding and opening to a pair of small drawers and a valanced pigeonhole flanked by pairs of reeded pilasters and tambour doors enclosing pairs of small drawers and three valanced pigeonholes; the lower section with bowed front and four cockbeaded graduated long drawers over a scalloped apron on four bracket feet, inscribed in chalk "Pridy 1820"--40 3/4in. high, 42in. wide, 21 1/2in. deep
