The rectangular box set on bracket supports fitted with a hinged top tier, two hinged doors and three interior drawers, inlaid in mother of pearl with large side panels of birds and flowers, end panels of mythical beasts, stags and flowers and the top with a large character medallion centered by two cranes and foliate scroll, the ground black lacquer, the interior drawers and upper tier red lacquer, bronze fittings chased with foliate motifs- 14 1/8 x 9 1/2 x 11 3/4 in. (35.8 x 24.2 x 29.8 cm.), losses and old damages
