Engraved document signed ("George R"), St. James's [London], 3 May l799, one page, oblong 4to, on parchment, blue paper tax stamp at left, the ink a bit pale, accomplished in manuscript, promoting L.J. Curtis to Lieutenant in the Loyal Islington Corp of Volunteers, raised in the parish of Islanington, London -- WELLINGTON, ARTHUR WELLESLEY, First Duke.Printed check accomplished and signed ("Wellington"), London, 22 February 1828, one page, an oblong, drawn on Messrs.
