Large folio, early nineteenth-century half brown morocco gilt and marbled boards, spine rubbed, corners and board edges worn, frontispiece and last three plates browned. JOHN FLAXMAN'S COPY, title-leaf, preface leaf, followed by 32 pp. letterpress, 26 engraved plates, comrpising a frontispiece plan of Athens with an elevation of the Propylaea, by T. Miller, 12 engraved views of Athens and 14 architectural engravings, these 26 unsigned except for the Sayer imprint on nos. 1 to 12.
