(10 3/8 x 6 5/8 x 1 3/8 [4:1 1/2] in.), contemporary green straight-grained morocco, sides gilt-panelled, spine in six gilt-panelled compartments, the second two gilt-lettered, g.e. with fore-edge paintings of THE OLD QUEENS' HEAD TAVERN ISLINGTON; MARYLEBONE GARDENS; FLORA TEA GARDENS, BAYSWATER; AND THE OLD "TABARD" INN, SOUTHWARK, vol. 2 rebacked with the original spine laid down, joints and extremiites rubbed, some wear to spines (faded), scattered light foxing. Engraved title vignettes.
