Moulded in the shape of a scalloped shell set on a raised foot moulded in the form of a curved and leafy stem, decorated in colored enamels and gilt with overlapping chrysanthemum florets of different varieties on a crackled cream glaze ground, rims gilt, decorated on the underside with paulownia sprays of blue enamel and gilt below a narrow border of gilded spirals along the rim
