A SIX PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of Simon Wedge, Baltimore, circa 1815, struck with Baltimore assay marks, comprising two tea pots, coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each urn form, the waisted rounded rectangular base with die rolled borders resting on four lion's paw feet, the body engraved with script initial C, the shoulder applied with basketwork strand, with die rolled rim, the scroll handle headed with foliate serpent's mask, the pots with part foliate bird's head swan neck spout, rounded shoulder, with hinged partly raised flat topped rectangular cover topped by stylized dolphin finial--the coffee pot 10¾in.
