A SILVER EWER, maker's mark of Wood & Hughes, circa 1860, pear shaped on molded circular foot, two sides with shaped oval cartouche, one engraved with script initial B, within large C-scrolls, three sides with flowers and headed by rocaille, the shoulder chased and engraved with vertical stylized acanthus band, with rocaille and flower applied short spout, the rusticated scroll handle applied with flower, the base and rim with applied scalloped band--10½in. (26.6cm.) high, 36oz.
