A SILVER SALVER, bearing marks for London, 1809, maker's mark John Crouch II, later flat chased, rounded rectangular on four tapering anthemion feet, the ground flat chased with broad frieze of rocaille, scrolls, foliage, flowers, swooping eagle and griffins mask centering vacant cartouche (erasure), with applied gadrooned and foliate shell cornered rim--11in.
