A VICTORIAN IRISH FOUR PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, Dublin, 1894-5, maker's mark of West & Son, comprising baluster coffee pot, molded pear shaped teapot, two handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each on four tapering feet with female mask join bound by rocaille, each side with C scroll enclosed oval cartouche, one engraved with crest and motto, one vacant, two enclosing trelliswork, the remainder chased and engraved with flowering foliage, with applied shell and scroll rim, and part foliate reeded multi scroll handles, the pots with elaborately decorated spout, the slightly raised hinged cover chased with floral band and topped by cast flower finial--the coffee pot 10¼in. (26cm.) high, gross weight 88oz. (4)
