Rait, comprising teapot, coffee pot, two handled sugar urn and cream jug, each vase form, on raised circular foot, with chased thistle, floral and scroll band, the plain wavy mid section engraved with crest and motto, the lower body chased with large acanthus leaves, two sides flanking fruit basket, the shoulder with bold chased and engraved grapevine band, with everted acanthus chased collar or rim, the sugar urn with two upcurved rusticated tendril handle, the pots with part foliate spout, the part foliate scroll handle with coiling rusticated tendril bifurcated top join, the hinged partly domed cover with acanthus calyx to the acanthus bud finial--the coffee pot 11¾in.
