Thinly carved in delicate Mughal style, the shallow conical bowl raised on a spreading petal-carved foot and carved in low relief around the sides with four rectangular panels of birds perched on stems of flowers and bamboo, below a rolled rim flanked by two lotus and chrysanthemum sprig handles suspending loose rings and ribboned cash, the shallow domed cover carved with four foliate panels depicting twin boys playing with their mother on a pierced floral ground, with an Imperially composed poem incised around the finial and bowl rim, the highly polished stone of even grayish-green tone
