A PAIR OF PAINTED BRONZE FIGURES OF BOYS WITH CYMBALS
Late 18th/Early 19th Century
Each kneeling figure with head turned to the side and somewhat lowered as if hiding his face behind the large cymbal held before him, one with smiling expression, the other more serious, wearing layered robes painted in black and red and decorated in gilding with lotus scroll and diaper pattern, the hollow-cast figures weighted and with filled-in base
