A PAIR OF MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRS
FROM THE FIRST CLASS DINING ROOM OF THE OCEANLINER NORMANDIE, CIRCA 1934
The cantilevered seat with the fluted shirt, supported upon four tapering, curved legs ending in brass feet, the arms as a continuous band, the rolled seat backs with flutes at either side, the entire chair weighted for stability, the modern needlepoint upholstery a faithful reproduction of the original--34 1/2 in. (88 cm.) high, 22 1/2 in. (57 cm.) wide, 20 1/2 in (52 cm.) deep
