Saints Paul and Barnabus were mistaken for Mercury and Jupiter in human form after they miraculously cured a cripple. When a priest from the temple of Jupiter came to them with oxen to make a sacrifice, Paul tore his clothes preventing the sacrifice from taking place as the people of Lystra looked on
