A GOTO SCHOOL KURIKARA KEN-RYO KOZUKA
MUROMACHI PERIOD (CIRCA 1500), ATTESTED TO GOTO SOJO BY GOTO KEIJO

The plate is of gold nanako of very small grains and is inlaid with a carved dragon and buddhistic sword (ken), probably from a kogai remounted in this frame. The reverse incised Mon Sojo and signed Mitsumori (Keijo) with kao--length 9.7cm., greatest thickness 9.5mm.
