KORYO PERIOD (12TH/13TH CENTURY)
The large, conical bowl set on a ring foot, inlaid in white slip on the interior with five large flower clusters below a narrow band of scrollwork and centering three chrysanthemum florets in the recessed well, the well surrounded by delicately inscribed foliate forms, inlaid on the exterior with a wide band of chrysanthemum scroll and floret medallions above a ring of single chrysanthemum blooms, covered by a rich green celadon glaze with extensive crackle, pooling to apple green in the recesses- 7 1/2 in. (19.6 cm.) diameter
