The pear-shaped stoneware body on a raised ring foot sloping to a tall neck with everted rim, decorated in brush-applied white slip, carved in sgraffiato style to reveal the darker body below, with a stylized, scrolling floral pattern below a band of abstracted lappet designs and finished with a crackled and bubble-suffused pale celadon glaze--11 1/2 in. (29.1 cm.) high
