A PUNCH'ONG FLASK
CHOSON PERIOD (15TH/16TH CENTURY)
The flattened, circular body set on a raised ring foot and with a short spout with everted rim, decorated with inlaid black and white slip depicting sprays of flowering, stylized peony, the sides with scrolling, floral motifs and abstract lappet designs, the shoulders similarly decorated, set beneath a rich, crackled and bubble-suffused celadon glaze--8 1/4 x 8 in. (21 x 20.2 cm.), damages to the spout restored
