Comprising teapot, coffee pot, hot-water kettle with stand and lamp, sugar bowl and cream jug; each of baluster form on four openwork rocaille scroll feet headed by stag's heads, the lobed sides elaborately repousse and chased with panels of swirling foliate scrolls, flowerheads and trelliswork enclosing, on each side, an acanthus scroll and rocaille cartouche engraved with a bird-head coronet and Princely crown, the rocaille and acanthus scroll spouts terminating in a bird head, the multi-scroll handles surmounted by a gryphon, the hinged domed covers with openwork flower finials, the shaped square stand raised on four gryphon-form feet joined by a scroll and rocaille apron, with openwork rocaille and scroll supports and central circular burner; the shaped circular waste bowl raised on four similiar rocaille and acanthus scroll feet, the sides and interior engraved with strapwork and foliate panels on a matted ground, fully marked except stand--height of kettle on stand 18in.
