Of baluster form on three scroll feet, with removable turned wood side handle, the fluted spout with hinged cover, the hinged domed cover with scroll thumbpiece and sliding baluster finial, engraved with a coronet within an acanthus scroll asymmetrical cartouche, marked under base, on rim and cover; struck with the charge and discharge of Julien Alaterre--7 3/4in.
