Of baluster form on shaped circular rim foot, the body repousse and chased with swirling flutes, with rocaille and scroll spout and wood scroll handle, the hinged domed cover repousse and chased with scrolls and rocaille amid fluted swirls, surmounted by a baluster finial with wood rim, pricked under base with initials IFM, marked under base, the foot, rim and cover also struck with later French control marks--6in.
