SKIEN, 1781, MAKER'S MARK TL IN SCRIPT

Of baluster form, the spreading circular foot raised on a square pedestal base with tied laurel decoration, the body repousse and chased with flutes and foliate swags, the high domed cover pierced with foliate decoration and surmounted by a flower finial, the base pricked A. Beos. D. K. J. 1777, the neck later engraved with a monogram --7 3/4in. (19.6cm.) high
