Of shaped circular form on four massive scroll, rocaille and flowerhead feet, the rim applied with similiar decoration at intervals, the field flat-chased with a border of elaborate acanthus scrolls and flowers enclosing an engraved coat-of-arms and crest above a presentation inscription, marked under base and stamped R. JONES & SONS, LIVERPOOL, FECt--24in. (61cm.) diam.
