Of vase-shaped form, on spreading circular foot chased with a band of fluting, with openwork fluted stem, the lower body chased with similar fluting, the ebonized scroll handle with acanthus sockets, with acanthus and anthemion scroll spout, the applied gadrooned shoulder with acanthus and rocaille at intervals, the hinged fluted cover enclosed by a flaring fluted rim and surmounted by a bud form finial, marked on body and cover--10in.
