Of shaped oval form, on four massive acanthus scroll and flowerhead pad feet, the gadrooned rim with shells and acanthus scrolls at intervals, the handles formed as foliate acorn branches, the center engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest within an elaborate reeded acanthus scroll cartouche, marked under base--length over handles 28 1/4in. (71.8cm.)
