LONDON, 1807, MAKER'S MARK OF HENRY NUTTING

Of circular form on four openwork acanthus scroll feet, the lower body chased with flutes, applied above with a band of palmettes below a gadrooned rim, the tied reeded foliate side handles issuing from palmettes, the domed cover with a band of leaves below similiar flutes, surmounted by an openwork shell and scroll finial, with fitted plated liner, marked under base, on cover and finial--13 3/4in. (35cm.) length over handles
