One boldly carved as a large furled lotus leaf, growing from a tied bundle of cut stems also supporting two partly opened lotus buds and a ripe seed pod, entwined with the slender leaves of other water plants, the stone of pale green color suffused with emerald and darker greens; the other carved in the form of a large serrated leaf borne on a gnarled fruiting grape vine, with squirrels nibbling at the fruit and clambering across the vines, the stone of pale mottled green color with apple-green highlighting the squirrels and a bunch of grapes, minute nicks--8 1/2 and 8 1/4 in.
