Finely carved as Lipo shown seated with his body enveloped in the folds of his voluminous robes which are carved from the mottled white areas of the stone, a striated area used for the inside of his hood in back and an aubergine-gray area used for his head, his curly beard, mustache and long, trailing brows detailed with fine hair markings, stopper, wood stand

This appears to be the only recorded example of a bottle of this form. The exquisite use of the natural striations in the stone is reminiscent of Roman cameos
