The center decorated with a procession of officials on horseback, each protected by an umbrella carried by an attendant, all approaching the walled compound where another official sits playing the qin in a pavilion surrounded by trees and clouds, with pavilions and mountains in the distance, surrounded by vignettes of birds perched in blossoming or fruiting branches reserved on a diaper ground, with further diaper pattern on the shaped apron, bowed legs and stretchers, some restoration--13 1/2 in.
