Well potted, the wide-shouldered body tapering to the flat base, with short cylindrical neck, and a pair of lug handles applied just below the shoulder, the black ware polished and with extensive earth adhering, one side partially flattened in the kiln during firing, rim chip--6 3/4 in. (17.2cm.) high
